This is always a favorite wine from the late Jim Clendenen—a Burgundian-minded blend of 55% Pinot Gris, 40% Pinot Blanc and 5% Aligote that honors a historic tale. It's also delicious, starting with aromas of toast, wet rocks, lemon and butter. The citrus-driven yet buttered palate shows yuzu and elegant pastry flavors.
