The 2021er Graacher Domprobst Riesling Kabinett with AP 01, an auction lot, still proves rather restrained and comparatively closed at first. It proves hugely pure and magnificently zesty and vibrating on the palate. It reveals a quite breathtaking and very pure nose of stone fruits, white peach, herbs, lime tree, rose, grapefruit, thyme, and rosemary. The wine has huge depth and energy on the palate in an electric yet layered and magnificently balanced palate. The finish is straight, animating, and oh so complex.
