Once again there is enough sulfur to overshadow the underlying fruit that clearly seems ripe. There is very good density to the delicious and vibrant medium-bodied flavors that flash focused power on the bone-dry finish that is shaped by lemon-tinged acidity. There is a hint of warmth but it's sufficiently subtle to materially impair the balance.
Old vines, a few from the 1930s and the rest 1960s. Glowing pale lemon and lime. The nose is quite reticent with a touch of reduction. There’s good depth here, with an agreeable energy though lighter acid. The flesh starts to build at the back of the palate.
