This too is aromatically quite restrained and decidedly cool with its blend of jasmine tea, white flowers, essence of pear and admirably subtle wood. There is a positively gorgeous mouthfeel to the solidly concentrated mineral-driven flavors that possess slightly better complexity on the impeccably well-balanced finale that displays outstanding length. This offers excellent potential.
The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes opens in the glass with aromas of pear, blanched almonds, white flowers and citrus zest. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, it's deep and multidimensional, with serious structuring extract and a long, penetrating finish. This appears to be especially successful this year.
