This is a typical Mosconi - very powerful and packed full of tannin but with a lovely texture and mouthfeel and importantly, lots of fruit that sits nicely on top of the substantial structure. This is perhaps the spiciest of the Anselma cru today - there is almost a prickle emanating from the interplay between the tannin and the alcohol. The potential in this wine is tangible - there is so much depth and complexity already that one can imagine where it will go once the structure melts into the wine a little more.
