Pale lemon in colour, with a fleshy, open-knit and sumptuous nose of ripe pear, lemon curd, fresh cashew and flinty reduction. The palate is creamy and broad, with generous stone fruits at the core. The savoury and smoky notes build through the mid palate to add to the complexity, before a cut of fresh acidity brings freshness and balance. Long and creamy on the finish. A superb Meursault that shows the best 2018 has to offer. Drink now or over the next 5-8 years.
