Chambolle Musigny, Domaine Francois Bertheau 2015

Tasting Notes

This is really quite pretty and very Chambolle with its floral-inflected aromas of ripe dark pinot fruit, tea and soft spice. The supple, round and delicious middle weight flavors possess a refined mouthfeel along with the intrinsic minerality of the terroir while culminating in a pliant finale that displays better than average depth and length. This could easily be enjoyed upon release but it should also reward a few years of bottle age too. (Drink starting 2021)
