Medium ruby colored and scented of allspice, vanilla, chocolate and cloves over a core of kirsch, dried plums and red currant jelly, the 2012 Pinot Noir is medium-bodied with a good backbone of rasping acid and chewy tannins that frame plenty of spicy berry preserves flavors and a long finish. 2014 - 2018
A nicely realised wine from the 2012 vintage, this has terrific depth and evenness in terms of aromas, with ripe dark and red cherries, chalky notes in part derived from tight-grain oak influence, some nutty nuances, earth and spice. The palate's deeply fruited with a smooth, fleshy texture, blueberry, dark-cherry and red-plum flavors, discreet spice and a fresh acid tang. Will age neatly. Drink in 2018.
