Tasted at Justerini & Brooks agency tasting in London. The Château Grand Village 2013 was impressive out of barrel and now in bottle, it appears to be one of the best white Grand Village that the Guinaudeau's have produced. It has a fresh, tightly-wound bouquet with just a hint of tropical fruit that I suspect will become more prominent with bottle age. There is a lovely apple-blossom scent here. The palate is well-balanced and citrus fresh, fine tension throughout with pleasant salinity on the finish. Enjoy this over the next few years as the whites can age extremely well.
