The 2013 Monbousquet Blanc has an attractive bouquet with hints of fresh pear, grapefruit and almond aromas that unfurl nicely in the glass. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, citrus lemon, grapefruit and, again, fresh pear notes with a slightly brittle but sustained finish. This has improved since I tasted it in barrel and should provide several years of drinking pleasure.
The Monbousquet Blanc 2013 has a clean and fresh malic bouquet with some attractive yellow flower and resinous scents emerging from the Sauvignon Gris. The palate is well balanced with a delightful peach and grapefruit entry and a harmonious caressing finish.
