Tasting Notes

**Note: a bourdon is a bumblebee**
A beautifully broad and layered nose features notes of plum, violet and black raspberry that are liberally mixed with an intense earthiness that continues onto the rich and dense big-bodied flavors that possess excellent power and intensity on the powerful but balanced finish. This is a very substantial wine that is presently unyielding but not aggressive or hard though note that lots of patience will be required.

From Corton-Paulands. Dark crimson. Not much nose. Very sweet and firm and with just a hint of oak but very ambitious and tight. Admirable.
