Tasting Notes

An intensely floral nose also reveals notes of Granny Smith apples, citrus zest and mineral reduction. There is good richness and ripeness to the naturally sweet medium-bodied flavors that exude a fine minerality on the extract-rich, mouth coating and wonderfully complex finish. I very much like the balance and delineation to the lemony finale. Good stuff though note that once again patience will be required.

Good pale yellow. Subdued but pure aromas of pear, white flowers and dusty herbs. Supple, subtly sweet and fine-grained, with very good energy and precision to its lemon and floral flavors; shows a slightly muscaty aspect that contributes to the wine's personality. Finishes with excellent cut and length. This has turned out very well. (Incidentally, Colin did not get this fruit in 2012.)
