Tasting Notes

(Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese #04) AP: 04 12. This offers a stunning nose of apricot flower, spices and passion fruit sorbet. The wine has the intensity of an Auslese on the palate and the finish is just incredibly long and remains surprisingly racy (for a 2011). This raciness is underlined by a great touch of passion fruit sorbet, which comes through in a long and concentrated finish. This is a great effort, which offers all the attribute of an Auslese without any undue ripeness. This will age beautifully well. 2016-2036
