Tasting Notes

An exceptionally ripe but not surmature nose of violets and black cherry liqueur aromas gives way to extremely rich, full-bodied and lightly mineral-suffused flavors that possess good freshness and a seductive texture before culminating in an impressively complex, driving and palate staining finish. This is impressively scaled though again, not inelegant plus it delivers really penetrating length and fine intensity.

Strong reduction obliterates the fruit. The rich, full-bodied and lightly mineral-suffused flavors however possess good freshness and vibrancy that culminate in an impressively complex, driving and palate staining finish that, somewhat surprisingly for the appellation, is quite rustic, serious and hugely long.
