Tasted blind at Farr's 2002 Bordeaux tasting. This is slightly herbaceous on the nose: tarry and gravely. The palate is ripe, tannic, good clean fruit, fine tannins leading to an earthy, austere finish. Very natural and graceful with a touch of burnt toast on the aftertaste. This is a much better showing than at the IMW tasting a couple of years ago. Tasted October 2009.
Drink 2010-20 Lightly meaty on the nose. Very juicy. Not the finest but solid. Lots of ripe fruit. Quite vigorous. There is a heck of a lot here. Vibrant.
