The Anne Gros Richebourg offers no especial depth of ruby colour, though the fruit is noble, with fresh roses and peonies as well as red berries. A fine crunch at the finish, acidity as dominant as the tannins, behind a wealth of noble fruit which persists beautifully. The magic is properly there, even if less intensity than some vintages. I will be tasting this for a while yet. Drink from 2030-2040.
