The 2015 Rausch Kabinett, as it is referred to on central part of the front label, has a light yellow-golden color and offers an attractive, finely aromatic, and nicely complex nose of smoke, white mint, thyme, verbena, jasmine, dill, rose, and laurel. The wine develops a touch of richness on the palate, where delicate aromatic, juicy, and riper fruits come into play, including grapefruit, tangerine, blackberry, and a hint of strawberry. The finish leaves a mouth-watering feel of spices and zest, in a light and very clean way. This is a great Kabinett, with just a bit more mid-palate ripeness, yet retains the delicacy and freshness one would expect from such a great, highly enjoyable wine. Now-2040
