The last to be picked as ever, on 12th September at 14%, but with concentrated acidity too. A little more lime and fresh herb to the nose. This is better balanced than the blended Meursault, as the acidity tames the richness, but leaves some of the cooked liquorice notes. However, it is very persistent and I like it.
Serious stuff on the nose. Sweet and juicy on the palate. I wondered whether the acid was a bit low but in fact it tastes this way because the alcohol is high.
