A very tight and structured white with sliced apples, lemon rind and cream. Medium- to full-bodied with a creamy texture and a long and flavorful finish. Very minerally, with struck flint and a spicy finish, like peppercorns and cloves. Drink or hold.

A bright silver/yellow/green hue, the 2022 Chardonnay Cuvee Louisa Goldrock Estate comes from the coolest temperature part of the vineyard and one of the latest ripening blocks, and it also spent 18 months sur lies. In the glass, it offers great, focused energy on the nose, with notes of sea spray, lime leaf, bright apple, and fresh pear. Mouthwatering out of the gate, this full-bodied Chardonnay is highly elegant and refined. It’s long on the palate, with a chalky texture, a mouthwatering feel, and a lot of tension and length, and it’s only going to improve if given a chance. Drink 2025-2040. 300 cases were produced.
