Not completely surprisingly, this is the most reserved wine in the range with its reluctant array of green fruit, acacia, wide range of spice elements and a dollop of toasty oak. There is fine richness to the broad-shouldered flavors that exhibit focused power on the sleekly muscular and impressively long finish. This will likely surpass the Bâtard in time but for now, they are qualitative equals.
