The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Combettes 1er Cru is a négociant cuvée—an exchange of fruit with the same winemaker each year that begun in 2020. This has an attractive, slightly honeyed bouquet. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. It is not as complex as the 2022, though there is decent tension on the slightly reductive finish. (Drink between 2025-2040)
