Pale colour, lean dense and tense, this is much more like top-flight classic Roulot, all in the concentration and not in the flesh. The terroir trumps the vintage, exquisitely balanced, still on the brawny side with very good length, classical with white fruit and flower notes.
A bit soft on the nose. Nice savour on the end. Spine and structure. Hint of veginess to animate the whole. Welcome lift.
