Made from two plots, in Les Valozieres and Les Caillettes, to total 0.13ha. Rich, pink purple, the whole bunch treatment has given this a rich floral peony character with a nice spicy finish, extra weight compared to the Nuits-St-Georges, and very persistent with excellent balance throughout. A really gorgeous example of Aloxe-Corton, not words you will often have heard me say.
