The 2014 Barbaresco Pajè is probably the most representative wine from the Roagna family. This 1.8-hectare parcel has been in family hands since 1953. Pajè (located in the comune of Barbaresco) shows ample structure and power, making a fitting platform to carry its expressive bouquet. Wild rose, lavender, sour cherry, licorice root and plenty of balsam herb lift beautifully from the glass. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and sees five years of aging between wood and cement. This 8,400-bottle release is a true classic from the 2014 vintage. 2023-2040
