Rodolphe Péters conceived of this cuvée out of a desire to prove that a house's best wine could be a blend, not a vintage, and the NV L’Étonnant Monsieur Victor Edition MK 16 is compelling evidence in support of his point. Wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, clear honey, hazelnuts, warm biscuits and dried white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, electric and penetrating, with an ample mid-palate, a pillowy mousse and a long, saline finish. It's a blend of one tank of Les Chétillons from the 2016 vintage along with wine from Péters's perpetual reserve.
