Notes of green tea and perfumed red currant, cherry, raspberry and violet serve as an elegant introduction to the rich, sappy and enveloping medium-bodied flavors that are at once seductive yet quite punchy, all wrapped in a firm, stony and impressively long finale. This is definitely built-to-age, yet the refined tannins and mid-palate density should allow it to be approached after only 5 to 7 years of keeping.
