The 2017 Chardonnay Trout Gulch offers a striking combination of fruit intensity and the structure that makes this site so distinctive. Lemon peel, chalk, white flowers, mint are all laced together in a striking, vibrant Chardonnay loaded with character. The warmer growing season has fleshed out some of the more angular contours that so often mark wines from this Santa Cruz Mountains site.

Coming from a site in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the 2017 Chardonnay Trout Gulch Vineyard is one of the more mineral-driven wines in the lineup and shows a terrific citrus and caramelized lime character as well as lots of white flowers and salty, rocky notes. It’s clean and medium-bodied, with bright acidity and a great finish. 2021-2029
