The 2022 Pinot Noir Saint Rose is a gorgeous wine and a fine bridge to the vineyard designates. Orange peel, cedar, spice, pipe tobacco and a good dose of whole cluster savoriness add an exotic flair. Medium in body and super-expressive, the Saint Rose is an absolute delight. Bright, yet well-integrated tannins and lively acids extend the finish. Drink: 2024-2032
A barrel selection cuvée born out of the Sta. Rita Hills Cuvée, the 2022 Pinot Noir Sainte Rose, delivers a more spice-driven and multifaceted bouquet than its counterpart, accompanied by a more tensile and snappy palate. The finish is similarly delicate, albeit longer-lasting, with a lovely combination of fresh salinity that supports savory undertones and a hint of woodiness. Drink: 2024-2029
