Volnay Caillerets, Domaine Michel Lafarge 2004

This is wonderfully perfumed with a penetrating mix of red, black and violet aromas that precede rich, sweet and intense flavors that offer excellent volume and a beautifully textured mouth feel that combines both excellent balance and ample underlying material. I quite like this as it's a lovely effort period and particularly so for the vintage. Note: from a parcel measuring 7ouvrées, or around .3 ha of 40 year old vines Drink: 2009+
