The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Loibenberg is from Wachau’s paradigmatic warm site. Ripe yellow pear flesh, savory yeast and miso paste play gently on the still-shy nose. The palate is juicy and mild, with a fresh but slender, dynamic body that drives ahead easily and fluently. Crushed sage leaf provides savor around the edges.
