The 2020 Rosé Blanc de Noirs Creux d’Enfer, 100% Pinot Noir, is airy and gracious. Sage, mint, rose petal, incense, cranberry and orange peel all waft from the glass. Strong savory and floral inflections from the 100% stems are front and center, while fruit is pushed into the background. Only produced in the best years, Creux d'Enfer is Cédric Bouchard's most elusive wine. It is a quirky Champagne that requires considerable time and attention from the taster. No dosage.
