All in 456 litre barrels. Mid lemon yellow. Rather more chiselled on the nose, with a touch of iodine. Pure white fruit, fairly concentrated, good tension behind and fine length. Not vastly characterful but extremely well made.
This singular wine features pronounced lemon cream aromas, with a strong saline component and hints of white flowers. The texture is lacy and delicate, with racy acidity and marvellous length. The domaine owns 0.2ha at 390m in the hamlet of Blagny; the grapes are lightly crushed and slowly pressed before fermentation without sulphur in cask, 30% new. Cellar this for two to three years before opening, and enjoy over the following 20. (Drink between 2028-2045)
