Her grandparents had the vines running across the hillside, while Amelie’s mother and aunt bought plots running more conventionally up and down slope. How lovely to have multiple plots of Petits Monts! There is more depth to the purple colour and more energy to the fruit on the palate, some red- and black- currant as well as the berry fruit, very long, with fine hillside freshness and acidity. I find the finish much longer than Les Suchots. Drink from 2030-2036.
