30% whole bunch. One of the lighter colours, but still a full, attractive purple. White marl, without clay or stones. But there is a sweetness of fruit and a tension holding it in place. Perhaps just a mite less precision, less daintiness than some years.
This red is silky, complex and very expressive today. Delivers black cherry, blackberry, sandalwood, spicy oak and mineral flavors, while the well-integrated structure lends support. This has a discreet oak element, which lingers with vanilla and toast notes. Very harmonious and long. Best from 2026 through 2047.
Barrel sample. Quite rich and sweet on the nose and then everything is in balance on the palate. This is really quite exciting! Lovely balance and charm. Drinking window: 2025-2043.
