Vosne Romanée Les Brûlées, Domaine Jean Grivot 2009

Tasting Notes

A strikingly spicy, ripe and quite densely fruited nose speaks of earth, smoke, red currant liqueur and black berries while sliding gracefully into rich, generous and sappy medium weight flavors that possess a beguiling mouth feel on the impressively intense and long finish. This is relatively robust with good muscle and verve and should make for a stunning wine in 10 to 12 years.
