In November we offered a stunning single-vendor collection of mature fine wines from one of the greatest private cellars in the UK. Over 90% of the wines originally offered are now sold out and our vendor has instructed us to reduce the prices of the remaining wines by 10% to ensure that all are offered at the lowest prices in the market today.
Most of these wines, which are all now ready to drink, were bought on original release (mainly en primeur from Farr Vintners) by the owner who has been a loyal customer of ours for over 30 years. These wines have been stored, undisturbed, in an underground cellar at their country estate until recent removal to our storage facility at LCB Melksham. All the wines are duty paid and, unless stated otherwise, full dozens are still packed in their original cases. This is a final chance to secure wines from this magnificent private cellar and now at even lower prices - offered on a first come, first served basis.
The cellar is cool, dark and slightly humid - excellent for the long-term storage of fine wines. Our dedicated team at LCB Melksham have inspected split cases (and many full dozens) and we have noted conditions on the wines. Unopened cases may have slight damp-staining on some labels. Photos are available on request if required.
Prices here all include duty. VAT is payable for UK customers but there are no additional charges on wines destined for export from the UK.
