On November 15th 2011 nearly 400 private customers of Farr Vintners packed the Vintners Hall in the City of London to taste over 80 fine wines from our increasingly broad portfolio.
We had wines on show from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône, the Languedoc, California, New Zealand and Hungary. Producers, who were present to show their wines, included Denis Durantou of L’Eglise Clinet, Véronique Dausse of Phélan Ségur, Jean-Emmanuel Danjoy of Mouton Rothschild (showing Clerc Milon, Armailhac and Coutet), Francois Duguoa of Rauzan Ségla and Canon, Nicola Greening of Felton Road, Warren Adamson of Craggy Range, Kenny Koda of Rudd Estate and Michel Mallard with a very exciting range of Burgundies. Champagnes included Dom Pérignon, Krug and Pol Roger.
Well known wine writers Oz Clarke, Charles Metcalfe, Olly Smith and Steven Spurrier were also present and the evening was very well received by customers, writers and producers alike.
