This was initially somewhat reduced and required several minutes of aeration to reveal more deeply pitched and more floral-suffused aromas of mostly blue berries, anise and a subtle touch of earth. I very much like the seductive mid-palate texture of the vibrant medium weight flavors that display excellent depth and persistence on the youthfully austere bitter pit fruit-inflected finish. In the same fashion as the 2022 version, this is perhaps on the lighter side in the context of what is typical for Bonnes Mares, but it possesses excellent flavor authority and fine length. 2031+
