Tasting Notes

A rich and nutty nose with notes of dried figs and candied citrus, together with roasted chestnut. The palate has a silkiness from the measured sweetness, which is matched by bright acidity. Honey-roasted cashews, dates, cigar box and old books all come through, this is a complex and mature wine that still manages a remarkable underlying freshness. Long, lightly sweet and tangy on the finish. Enjoy cellar cool or from the fridge door as an aperitif, digestif or with an array of cheeses and less sweet desserts.
