The 2019 Barolo Gramolere is a brilliant, classically austere wine that will delight readers who enjoy linear, taut Barolos. All the elements are so well balanced. Crushed flowers, mint, pine, spice and lavender are some of the many notes that grace this ethereal but deep, super-expressive Barolo. 2026-2039
onforte d’Alba. Mid-to-deep ruby with orange tinges. Complex, savoury oak over still-subdued, soft, aromatic red fruit. Quite gorgeous on the palate with juicy, ripe raspberry fruit and crunchy tannins. Can already be approached. Drink between 2023-2034.
