Tasting Notes

Medium deep crimson. Magnificent pure blackberry blackberry dark chocolate aromas with vanilla roasted chestnut notes. Beautifully concentrated and inky deep with beautiful pure dark berry fruits fine slinky animated tannins and perfectly integrated new mocha, vanilla oak. Finishes classically firm with superb mineral length. Very seductive and impressive with a beautiful scent of place. Wonderful fruit definition, purity and precision with the density and
torque for long term aging. Almost perfect symmetry. Drink 2028 – 2050 14.5% alc 99 points.

69/31% Eden Valley and Barossa Valley; hand-picked vines, with an average age of 111 years. Matured for 21 months in 100% French (25% new) oak. The scented cherry flavours and fruits establish a delicious fresh fruit stream, the tannins fine and supple. 14.5% alc, cork. 96 points, drink to 2038. -
