Middling deep red purple, smoky nose with a certain succulence. Unfortunately they lost two thirds to the frost because of grass in the vineyards. The quality comes more on the palate than the nose, though with a slightly tough reductive finish. Good tannin and fruit balance at the back, and certainly the most persistent of the three.
