There is a whiff of petrol to the slightly riper and vaguely exotic aromas of white peach, lychee and citrus confit. The super-sleek, intense and solidly concentrated medium-bodied flavors also exude evident minerality on the sappy, sneaky long and balanced finale. Like a number of wines in the range, this isn't especially complex though I see no reason why more depth shouldn't develop if given half a chance.
The vineyards are adjacent but Embrazées is much more of a red soil on rock which can decompose, as opposed to the hard rock of Baudines. More lemon than lime in colour, always fleshier but a fining will bring it into balance. Yellower in fruit, fuller on the palate. Fortunate crunchy freshness to finish. Very good length
