Tasting Notes

Opulent with notes of espresso and star anise that intertwine and envelope the wild briary fruit at the core. The palate is pure in ripe forest fruits, showcasing again some exotic toasted spice against chalky, persistent tannins. Very much in the Mouton style with an expansive, smoky, black-fruit-led finish.

92/95
Thomas Parker MW, Farr Vintners, April 2023

The Petit Mouton is more and more structured and intense. It's made for the cellar. Full to medium body. Lively and intense. Solid. 71% cabernet sauvignon, 19% merlot, 7% cabernet franc, and 3% petit verdot.
