Echézeaux, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget 2020

Tasting note: Black color. Exceptionally ripe yet unexpectedly fresh aromas combine notes of black cherry liqueur and spice with those of poached plum and wood. The palate impression is one of opulence and unctuosity allied with surprisingly good energy on the exceptionally powerful, firm, bold and robust finale. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, this incredibly concentrated effort is completely atypical but still manages to work.
