A deft application of wood sets off the aromas poached plum, violet and discreet spice nuances. Once again, the mouthfeel of the medium weight flavors is super-sleek with equally good minerality suffusing the firm, serious and chalky finish. This isn't seductive but it is elegant and built-to-age.
