Really intense purple but with the fresh crisp aspect that comes with lower pH. Voluminous fruit on the nose, at first all one block of flavour, albeit heightened fresh blackcurrant and raspberry, with very good acidity. This slightly monolithic aspect may be a reflection of a later malolactic fermentation here. Jean-Nicolas mentions that today the Cros Parentoux is showing much tighter and less fine than he normally sees it. The aftertaste though begins to open out and says that this will work!
