An equally ripe yet slightly fresher nose blends notes of spice and earth with those of red currant, plum and a very subtle suggestion of wood. There is better verve to the equally seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess very good mid-palate density, all wrapped in sappy, lingering and better-balanced finale because while there is a touch of warmth, it is markedly more subtle.
