Caroline’s holding is in the centre of the vineyard, with rows running from top to bottom. Lovely primrose colour here. A touch of sulphur currently inhibits the nose. Excellent intensity with stone licking minerality, and a huge volume of concentrated fruit to soak it up. Very fine.
Once again sulfur overshadows the fruit rendering the nose impossible to assess. By contrast there is good freshness to the finer if slightly less concentrated flavors that possess a refined texture along with plenty of minerality on the sneaky long and austere finale. This too should repay extended keeping as it will almost certainly add body and depth with time in bottle.
