2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Tête du Clos, 1er Cru
This too is overtly floral with plenty of spice nuances to the mostly white orchard fruit aromas. There is better volume and equally good mid-palate density to the sleek, delicious and tautly muscular flavors that flash solid power on the focused, clean and refreshingly dry finale. This firmly structured effort will need at least a few years of patience and should reward up to a decade of keeping. 90-93 points
2019Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanée, 1er Cru
Here too there are fermentation aromas on the nose that crowd out all but suggestions of spice. More interesting are the very rich and quite full-bodied flavors that possess a powerful but refined mouthfeel that terminates in a very dry, youthfully austere and well-balanced finale. This beauty of a La Romanée is also going to require at least some patience. 91-93 points
2019 Domaine Vincent Dancer Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Tête du Clos
One of the highlights of the range is the 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Tête du Clos, a deep and complete wine evocative of pear, citrus zest, white flowers and buttered pastry. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's concentrated and structured, with terrific tension and mid-palate volume. 94 points
2019 Domaine Vincent Dancer Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Romanée
Notes of pear, clear honey, ripe melon, white flowers and almond paste introduce the 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Romanée, a medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated wine that's satiny and enveloping, its ample core of fruit framed by chalky extract and succulent acids. 93 points
